FAIRTRADE HERTFORD 2010

The national theme for Fairtrade Fortnight this year is 'The Big Swap', and the aim is to increase sales of Fairtrade tea in particular, as these are lagging behind sales of Fairtrade coffee, see this link.

As part of the celebrations this year, Hertford Fairtrade Steering Group would like to invite you to join them for a Fairtrade Tea Party at Baroosh on Wednesday 3rd March 2010 from 2pm onwards. £2.50 for tea and cake (special price). We are hoping that the Mercury will come and take a photo, so the more people who come and support us, the better. We can demonstrate the support there is for Fairtrade in Hertford. Unfortunately Baroosh is an over 19’s venue, but we are starting at 2pm so that people can join us before school pick up.
